Let's get something straight. If you have a company, you need a website. The dependency our world has on the internet is huge and you need to be a part of it.
Your website should not be the result of a word document on steroids, a fun hobby your neighbor has, or a few pictures taken on a point and shoot camera by your staff at a Christmas party. Your website must promote what you promote. It must represent your company, yourself and most importantly what your customers desire. Think of it as an employee on call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Your company's concierge for all of your customer's/client's needs.
What do we do? We build a bridge between your customer and your company. Style, form, fit and flavor are the colors of our palette and your company is our muse.
We start with who you are and end with who you are. Simple.
Our development team has all the standard web programming languages under their belt: XHTML; CSS; Javascript (AJAX); XML; PHP; MySQL; Ruby on Rails; and, Actionscript (Flash). So other then creating the next Yahoo! we're well equipped to handle whatever you want to throw at us (even the next Yahoo! is possible).
We thrive as promoters and consultants. The greatest challenge is finding an avenue to get the word out. With billions of websites scattered throughout the internet, it becomes imperative to find your angle - Define Your Edge. We have our finger on the pulse of the digital world to keep you up to date with the Facebooks, Yelp!s and MySpaces so you don't waste your money on a chuck of gold in the back corner of a digital broom closet.
Again, it's not enough to be enough. We need to get you to the top - and that is our focus from the beginning.
So here's the deal... There are thousands of designers out there. If you spent enough time looking, you might find a designer you like better than us- it's probable. However, not probable is finding a team that can brand you better than we can. It's not arrogance speaking- it's perspective.
Our approach is very different. We start by identifying your company's objective and compare it to your customer's point of view. Out of that research comes your targetmarket. Then, based on your market, we develop your key message. The style of the design is driven by the goal, not personal taste - it's not about what you like. It's about what your customer wants. In our experience, this sense of control is very hard to relinquish because in most cases it has been your personal taste that got the company to this point. However, that is where trusting your advertising agency becomes important. And, luckily we have plenty of councilors on staff when it goes wrong (just kidding).
Adobe Creative Suite is our puppet; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. It gives us the ability to help you. Don't you love her too?
We have a handle on all kinds of print mediums - consider it covered. We have experience in packaging, large format print (billboards, posters, banners, menu boards) and simple fliers, pamphlets and displays.
You are what you watch? So, stop watching "The Biggest Loser"! Watch more constructive shows like "American Idol" and "America's Got Talent". Wouldn't those make you feel better if that sentiment was true? Absolutely!
We have all seen bad cable commercials, and for many business owners it is a problem of resources, time and perspective. This is a medium where image is everything and attention spans are short (approximately 5 - 10 seconds). So we need to hit hard and fast, and that does not always mean loud and abrasive. Again, it's about your company's key messages - what do your customers want in this moment and how can your company visually offer what they want. We are like a Susanne Summers exercise video - isolate isolate isolate!
We have three Final Cut Studio editing bays at our disposal for video editing and effects compositing and all the audio gear necessary (Logic and Protools) for voice-over, foley and sound tracking.
We really enjoy this part because many of us are actors or performers.
In addition, our ability to design packaging makes us a one stop shop so you can maintain continuity throughout. Very important.
Who are you?! Who is your company?
Now step outside of yourself and into the shoes of your customer. Who is the company in front of you? What do you (as a customer) want and, most importantly, why? The fundamental elements of what and why are critical in maintaining the attachment your customer has to your business.
So here's our process: we get to know you; we get to know your business; then forget all of it while we get to know your customers; have a moment of recall so we can compare what we know about you to what we know about your customers; and finally, write the translation table as to how to talk to them. This comes to you in the form of a solid "brand" - a refined graphics package and a solid understanding of what and why.
It is not enough to be enough. We need to get you to the top - and that's our focus from the beginning.
Our training in the area of psychology is in part that we are all performers. If you have ever had to tell a story to an entire theater of people for two hours, you would know exactly what we are talking about. Words are only words with out a deep inner meaning, a "subtext". I can tell you "I Love You" but you would know if I meant it by the way I said it. The sense of honest, real and true (all the same words) subconscious motivation is what we as customers want to see and what we as business owners want to convey.
Adam Cuppy and Trever Yarrish are both Mastery trained by Tony Robbins and the Anthony Robbins organization. Both follow the practices of Michael Gerber (E-Myth) and Seth Godin (Free Prize Inside & The Purple Cow). But, above and beyond all of that they are true customers. They see things as they are and how they would hope them to be and they love to talk shop. It is a passion like no other. Book knowledge doesn't amount to much without the desire to put new-found creativity to use. And that creativity has brought you Cuppy, Yarrish & Partners.
